How I see myself
and how others see me.

This page is for classmates, mentors, and future employers who want to understand the person behind my work. My goal is to show how my self-perception and other people’s feedback shape the way I communicate, collaborate, and lead.

My self-view and reviewer feedback both point to leadership with care.

Evidence: The shared descriptors in my SPI/PRS comparison include Leaderlike, Empathetic, Hard-Working, Problem-Solver, and Self-Confident. Reviewers also described me as caring, involved, curious, and trusting.

Reasoning: The overlap suggests that the values I see in myself are visible to other people too. I will use those shared values as the foundation of my professional brand: capable, prepared, and attentive to people.

I tend to analyze first, while others often experience me as expressive.

Evidence: My SPI communication style is Analytical. The average PRS behavioral communication style is Expressive, with composite proactivity of 3.00 and reactivity of 3.00.

Reasoning: Individual PRS responses vary, so the average is not unanimous agreement. The difference gives me a useful branding insight: I can bring structure and analysis while making my communication more visible, direct, and engaging for other people.

My strongest growth opportunity is protecting commitments while staying open to new experiences.

Evidence: 360 feedback described me as responsible, well spoken, creative, a strong communicator, and a strong leader. Developmental feedback encouraged me to stay committed after saying yes, protect my priorities, and keep trying new things.

Reasoning: The feedback shows a strong foundation with a practical next step. Going forward, I will set clearer priorities before committing, communicate earlier when plans change, and intentionally try unfamiliar opportunities.

Conclusion

My brand is analytical, communicative, and people-centered.

I’m a Year 3 Blue Chip member and Year 2 Peer Mentor. I facilitate leadership activities and mentor 25 second-year students through conversation, reflection, and practical next steps.

Student advocacy · Proposal and feedback

Making student feedback part of the conversation.

As a selected incoming member of the Eller Cohort Advisory Board, I shared student feedback and advocated for stronger advisor training, referrals, and follow-up when students raise mental health concerns. These were recommendations; I am not claiming they have been adopted.
